Bridal showers are always semi-casual but you have to remember to stay away from all white just incase the bride wants to be the only one wearing white.

I tried a couple different outfit combinations until I decided on the winning look. I haven't worn this skirt in a while and I thought the bridal shower would be an excellent opportunity. It was hot outside and I wanted something that could breath and would be comfortable.


My mom, sisters, and I got on the subject of this outfit while at the shower and they all complimented me on it — which is pretty major when there are 3 other women, all with their own styles! They remarked they would have never thought to pair the pink skirt with the yellow-gold wedges, but it totally works. Those two colors are so complimentary when they're paired together in the right hues.


All the pieces of this outfit I've had for while — 2 years at least! A white tank is a necessity for everyone, as is a great pair of wedges. As you can tell, neither have gone out of style!

This shower took place a couple months ago, and just a couple weeks ago my cousin and his new bride tied the knot! Congrats you two!
