Transitional Hybrid

Before the weather became stupid hot, there was a very small window consisting of beautiful blue skies and perfect temperatures.

I love that time of year, mostly for the temperatures, but mainly because the options of what to wear encompasses my entire wardrobe. Tank tops and pants, shorts and long sleeves, boots or sandals, and layers.

Wearing our Colors

Memorial Day is a holiday we celebrate to remember the men and women who died while serving in the country's armed forces.

As I sit here watching "I Wanna Marry Harry", it's easy to forget the sacrifice these men & women have made to make it so I can not only watch this show in my home, but allow me so many other freedoms we take for granted on a daily basis — like wearing what I want to, and writing about it.

I've been very blessed in the fact that my dad is only a veteran, not someone we have to pay our respects to on Memorial Day.

Class with Side of Sass

I am slightly obsessed with this top! It's classy with a side of sassy, and it's everything we southern women are made of!

Preppy Polo

Polo shirts have been around for many, many years. They're worn worldwide, year round, and by people of all ages and genders. It's the most universal shirt ever made. So, after I had changed in to and out of a number of outfits, I decided to pull out the ole' reliable polo.

London Calling

So I'm finally headed off to London tomorrow. After 10+ years of begging and dying to go, I'm finally going. It's surreal and hasn't hit me yet.

Last night my mom and I took B to give him to his pseudo-mommy for the next month. He seemed to do well and she was very nice which really put me at ease.

I went to the bank and deposited some shopping money- cha ching! I'll help London's economy, fo sho. :P
