Tackonista
We have our less than fabulous moments but often it's because we're making the rare decision to choose comfort in some or fashion.
For me, those days are either when I'm home with plans for the day (I absolutely hate wasting a cute outfit on a day on the couch) or when I'm on set in a dress.

Longing for the Cold
Georgia winters are incredibly unpredictable. We've had a couple days that were freezing, then we shoot right back up to warm (if not hot) temps. One guarantee is the mornings will be cool...er.
Most of my dresses are sleeveless, and thus unwearable in the winter. The cool mornings and evenings (aka when I'd be wearing the dress) will make you look like a fool and there's nothing worse than having to cover up the outfit you worked so hard to put together with a thick jacket.

Raising a Parting Glass
My beloved Grandpa passed away on October 1st.
He went fast, but had a beautiful 88 years and he was ready to go home and see his wife! It's strange when someone who is a constant in your life is suddenly no longer there. I would always joke with him and tell him he has to stick around until I got married, to which he always replied "well you'd better hurry up." He was a wonderful man and I'm so grateful that I got 23 years with him.

Graduation Chic
As I mentioned last week, my best friend graduated college! I donned on a nice dress and cheered her on as she walked across the stage. But, the tricky part was finding the perfect dress!
